just a random idea i had, after seing a certain login message several times in the last few weeks, could there be a special board where people can suggest websites for each other to look at?

Do we really need a special board for this? I mean why can't someone just start such a topic under let's talk or some other board. I don't really think the admins need to put a special board on heere for every single idea someone comes up with. There are a lot of special boards that have been created that hardly anyone posts to (zoner's club for premiums only, elder folk, etc.), so why clutter up the boards with more.
There's a Promote It board on Graffiti that'd work well for this one.

but hmmm, how about a links section off the main menu and we can add links to it. :). i know you can put links in your profile, but just 1. it would be great if this was a feature.
the problem i find with promote it, is not only is it not actually a clickable link, but it soon gets buried under the other posts that people have made.
with this links section you would just go there, click on a user, and view all the links they uploaded
